Magnus von Wright (1805–1868) was a Finnish-Swedish painter, best known for his works depicting landscapes, nature, and wildlife. He was born in Finland, which at the time was a part of the Kingdom of Sweden, and his contributions to the art world are considered important in the context of both Finnish and Swedish art history.
Magnus von Wright is often regarded as a pioneer of animal painting in Finland, and he had a strong interest in nature and the scientific depiction of animals.
