Born 1949 in Landskrona, retired Swedish actress and model Janet Ågren began her career as a model before relocating to Italy in the late 1960s, where she studied acting at the Drama School directed by Alessandro Fersen in Rome.
Ågren made her film debut in 1968 with I due crociati and went on to appear in 57 films, primarily in Italian exploitation genres such as giallo, spaghetti westerns, and erotic comedies. Notable films in her career include Avanti! (1972), The Left Hand of the Law (1975), City of the Living Dead (1980), Red Sonja (1985), and Hands of Steel (1986). She also had a brief musical career in the early 1980s.
