Babylon Village Arts Council will present local artist Melissa Maiello’s work in a month-long exhibit at Webster Bank located at 180 West Main Street, Babylon Village.

“In my artwork, I have always explored the idea of visually representing my memories. No matter how much time passes, I still feel a deep personal connection to these memories and have had difficulty separating from them over the years,”stated the artist. “The drawings are never photorealistic, rather the image I create becomes a transformation of my present mood, as well as a blurry representation of the memory in my mind.” continued Ms. Maiello. 

Melissa Maiello is a long time BVAC member whose artwork has left a lasting impression on the viewers. This program is made possible through membership.
