The high-end chips are made from local potatoes, cooked in small batches locally in Bridgehampton, drained, dried and dusted with sea salt. Hampton residents, known for their taste in gourmet delicacies, have been snatching up the chips, from limited local farm stands, making them the latest must-have for high-end snacking. The potato chips are available for $50 per pound, and are also offered in gift size bags for $12 for 3.75 oz. The trio of chips includes the classic, garlic and parsley and sweet potato, and all are available for purchase at local farm stands including Amber Waves Farms, Balsam Farms, The Milk Pail and Farm and Forage. The chips will also be available to purchase online for the holiday season and are offered in the trio package, one of each or mix and match.
